This is a four-week online deep dive into Ashtanga’s Primary Series, designed to make the practice feel more accessible, understandable, and actually useful in your body. Each session will break things down in a way that helps you not just do the postures, but understand them—so you can move with better alignment, breathe in sync with the practice, and maybe even enjoy it a little more.
I offer a lot of options and modifications, so no, you don’t need to already be good at Ashtanga to join. This is for anyone looking to refine their practice, deepen their knowledge, or just get through a class without feeling completely lost.
If you can’t make the live sessions, no problem—you’ll get access to the recordings so you can practice when it works for you.
Week 1 (April 6): Sun Salutations (Surya Namaskar A & B)
→ The backbone of the practice. We'll break down breath, movement, and small adjustments that make a huge difference in how these feel in your body.
Week 2 (April 13): Finishing Sequence & Closing Postures
→ Backbends, inversions, and the underrated skill of winding down properly.
Week 3 (April 20): Standing Postures
→ Where strength and stability get built. Expect a deep dive into alignment and modifications that work for your body.
Week 4 (April 27): Seated Postures & Integrating the Practice
→ Flexibility, breath control, and how to transition between postures without making it weird.
